TECHNICAL VISIT 1
LRT SHAH ALAM LINE (LRT 3)
The LRT Shah Alam Line or LRT 3, is a medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) line which will be serving the Shah Alam and Klang regions on the western side of the Klang Valley, Malaysia. It will be the third LRT line, and the fourth fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley region.
The line is one out of four rapid transit lines in the Klang Valley that does not serve KL Sentral, the other three being the Ampang Line, Sri Petaling Line and the Putrajaya Line, as well as the first rapid transit line in the Klang Valley that is entirely outside the borders of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. A total of 26 stations were planned, with a proposed two-kilometre distance between each station. One station was to be an underground station, with the other 25 being elevated.

EAST COAST RAIL LINK (ECRL)
The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) is a transformative infrastructure project aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic development in Malaysia's East Coast region. Spanning approximately 665 kilometers, the ECRL will connect the east coast states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang to the west coast, linking major cities and ports along its route. The infrastructure includes spur lines, tunnels, bridges and viaducts.

UEM EDGENTA PAVEMENT RESEARCH CENTRE
The UEM Edgenta Pavement Research Centre is located at Bukit Beruntung looks into the development of sustainable and environmentally-friendly road surfaces, amongst others. It involves pavement condition assessment, pavement rehabilitation, pavement testing, drainage maintenance, as well as cleaning and traffic safety services.

ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE AT MERDEKA 118
The Merdeka 118 tower is a 118-storey building located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With a completed height of 678.9 metres, the tower now stands as the tallest in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The Merdeka 118 development will provide seamless connectivity for visitor’s access. The precinct is directly connected to the newly built Merdeka MRT Station, 2 LRT stations, as well as 2 monorail stations.

The precinct is directly connected to the newly built Merdeka MRT Station, 2 LRT stations – LRT Plaza Rakyat and Hang Tuah, as well as 2 monorail stations – Monorail Maharajalela and Monorail Hang Tuah. The whole development will also be directly linked from Jalan Syed Putra, Jalan Damansara and Jalan Istana via the Belfield Tunnel which will be a 2-storey underground tunnel passing underneath Kampung Attap and Jalan Maharajalela, all the way to the basement of the precinct.

SETIAWANGSA - PANTAI EXPRESSWAY (SPE)
Setiawangsa–Pantai Expressway, SPE (previously known as the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway Phase-3" DUKE Phase-3) is a 29.8-kilometre expressway in Klang Valley, Malaysia will traverse north to south of Kuala Lumpur and will serve areas such as University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Wangsa Maju, Setiawangsa, Ampang, the Tun Razak Exchange & Bandar Malaysia development corridor and Kerinchi. SPE provide an alternative route for road users with improved and more efficient traffic dispersal system in the around Kuala Lumpur city center to complement and relief peak hour congestion on existing arterial roads and expressways along its proposed alignment. SPE is also expected to improve connectivity with existing expressways and public rail transportation systems such as the KTM Komuter, LRT and MRT lines and providing a holistic and transport system to support the development and modernization of Greater Kuala Lumpur.
